Tree of Life Sterling Silver Pendant

This lovely pendant measures 30mm in diameter and depicts the Tree of Life, or the World Tree.
 
The Tree of Life pendant is a shamanic symbol depicting the three planes of existence, where the top of tree represents the upper levels of spirituality, a place where the higher spirits dwell, such as Angels. The Middle section, or Middle Earth is where we (the humans) reside and as the roots drive into the ground and down, they enter the archetypal realm of the underworld, this is where the nature sprits dwell, nothing to do with evil or hell as might be percieved by modern christianity.
 
It is the trunk of the tree which connects the different levels together and the branches and roots are as pathways for a Shaman. All parts are acceible by "Spiritual Journeying" and the Shaman will use the trunk, branches and roots to make these journeys which are usually used to gain information or answers to questions which cannot be answered by conventional means, or for a practice we call "Soul Retreival", which is when someone has experienced a severe trauma and as a consequence has experienced "Soul Fragmentation" which can often be seen as severe depression and associated illnesses on the our plane.
